India Study Centre at the Institute of Strategic Studies signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Nepal Council of World Affairs 

Islamabad, November 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):The India Study Centre (ISC) at the Institute of Strategic Studies (ISSI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nepal Council of World Affairs (NCWA) on November 16, 2022 at 11:00 hrs. ISC was represented by Director General, Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry; while Mr. Hemanta Kharel, President, Nepal Council of World Affairs signed it for NCWA. The session was moderated by Dr. Arshad Ali, Director ISC at ISSI.

Speaking at the occasion, Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry briefed the President of NCWA about the working of the Institute and hoped that this association would produce quality research and dialogue for mutual benefit, especially in areas like climate change and food and energy security where the region faced shared challenges.

Mr. Hemanta Kharel, in his remarks, apprised DG ISSI about the work of his institute and highlighted the mutual respect shared between the people of both countries. He further stressed that this collaboration would benefit both sides in terms of regional peace and stability. The meeting was concluded by an MoU signing ceremony between the two institutes.
