Karachi, September 20, 2023 (PPI-OT): In a heartwarming collaboration, the Indus Hospital and Health Network and the Faryal Kamran Initiative have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This significant agreement reflects their shared commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children in need, particularly those affected by cancer.

The signing of the MoU between the IHHN and the FKI was a momentous occasion. Dr. Abdul Bari Khan., President of IHHN, and Faryal Kamran, Founder and President of FKI came together to affirm their joint commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children affected by cancer. This agreement outlines FKI’s sponsorship of the operational expenses of “Indus Kay Sitaray” (IKS), a unique school within the Indus Hospital, dedicated to educating young cancer patients who often face interruptions in their education due to medical treatment.

Indus Kay Sitaray stands as a beacon of hope within the Indus Hospital, providing education to children who are navigating the challenges of cancer treatment. This school, specifically designed for young patients, offers not just education but also a ray of hope during their challenging times.

On the other hand, the dedicated philanthropist and social worker Ms. Faryal Kamran lead Faryal Kamran Initiative (FKI). Its core mission is to bring smiles to the faces of children who need them the most. Through this partnership, FKI is extending its support to provide educational opportunities and support to young cancer patients, making a meaningful difference in their lives. Together, IHHN and FKI are creating a brighter future for these courageous children.
