Lahore, May 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):Recently, the Integrated Engineering Center of Excellence (IECE) under the supervision of Mr. Nasir Mahmood (Pro-Rector, Academics) hosted Mr. Nadeem Dar (Project Manager, Nokia and Imperial College) for a 2-day technical workshop. This workshop was part of UOL’s efforts to participate in green sustainable technology development.
On the first day of the workshop, commercial development and simulation of technologies, including electric power units and battery management systems, were discussed. The second day’s discussion was on the development of assessment testing and standardization methodologies for commercial technology development for both university-built projects and ventures with commercial partners. Moreover, the testing equipment was assessed and efforts were made to develop testing regimes for on-road electric vehicles.
