Lahore, May 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):The University College of Medicine and Dentistry (UCMD), at the University of Lahore (UOL), conducted an International Conference on Pediatric, Hematology, and Oncology on May 9, 2022 in collaboration with the Children’s Cancer and Leukemia Group UK, Pakistan Society of Pediatric Oncology, Punjab Thalassemia Prevention Program, and Pakistan Hemophilia Patients Welfare Society.
The conference was aimed at spreading awareness about thalassemia, the well-being of patients and its preventive measures. The renowned medics in the fields of pediatrics, hematology, and oncology spoke at the event and updated the knowledge of consultants, postgraduate students, and residents regarding common hematological diseases.
