Lahore, May 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Department of Health, Safety and Environment conducted a health and safety training workshop to mark the “World Day for Safety and Health at Work” under Sustainable Development Goal-(SDG) 3 on April 28, 2022. Students, faculty and staff members from various departments participated in the event that was aimed at promoting the prevention of occupational accidents.
During the session, Mr. Badar Munir (Manager Health, Safety and Environment-HSE) highlighted the main features of the session that covered HSE impact on the workplace, evacuation procedures, fire safety, first aid training, classification of fire types, safety equipment uses and awareness.
