Jamshoro, The University of Sindh has announced the postponement of its annual college examinations, initially scheduled to commence from January 23, due to the upcoming general elections. The examinations, spanning various disciplines including Arts, Science, Commerce, and Home Economics, are now awaiting a new schedule.



According to University of Sindh, the decision to postpone the examinations was taken following requests from the Regional Directors of Colleges in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas. Shahid Hussain Lark, the moderator of the annual examinations at the University, stated that the postponement applies to the annual examinations



for AD Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Economics, BA, BSc, and BSc Home Economics Part I in colleges affiliated with the University of Sindh. The examinations were originally scheduled for the year 2022.



This decision comes in light of the logistical and administrative challenges posed by the general elections, ensuring that the examination process does not clash with the electoral activities. The postponement is aimed at facilitating both the students and the administration to manage their responsibilities effectively during this crucial time.



The University of Sindh has assured that the new dates for these examinations will be announced later, allowing students sufficient time to prepare and adjust their schedules accordingly.
