Islamabad, The Umm al-Binin WF hosted a significant mourning majlis at the Central Imam Bargah Jamiat al-Murtaza in Islamabad, drawing a large gathering of women to honor the legacy of Madir-e-Millat-e-Jafaria. The event focused on the profound spiritual teachings and exemplary sacrifices of the family of Prophet Muhammad, highlighting the life of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (a.s.) as a perfect model for women and a guiding light for humanity.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Sayeda bint Ali Mousavi emphasized the inspirational actions of the captives of Karbala, noting their service to humanity and the propagation of religion as enduring lessons. The assembly also paid tribute to the pivotal role played during the martial law period in Pakistan, underlining the significance of the Moosawi Junejo agreement of May 21, 1985, which was a milestone in the struggle for Shia rights and demands.
Speakers, including Zakira Tahira Bilqis Bukhari, addressed the essence of striving for the hereafter and the noble stance of facing death with valor as taught by the family of Muhammad (pbuh). Sayeda Zainab Alawiya highlighted the sacrifices made in the path of God for the preservation of monotheism, prophethood, and humanity’s highest values, despite facing immense suffering and adversity.
The majlis served not only as a remembrance of the sacrifices of Imam Hussain (a.s.), his family, and companions but also as a call to embrace the virtues of courage, steadfastness, and truthfulness exemplified by them. The event concluded with Quranic recitation and prayers for the elevation of the status of Mother Millat Jafaria, alongside the laying of wreaths and flowers at her shrine.
