Islamabad, September 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): This is regarding, the Belt and Road Forum on Innovative Development of Biomanufacturing, will be held on November 8-10, 2023, at Tianjin, China. The theme of the Forum is ‘Sharing Cutting-edge Biotechnology for Prosperity of Global Bio-economy’, which is being organized from the platform of COMSATS Joint Centre for Industrial Biotechnology (CCIB), by the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology (TIB), China, and COMSATS, with support of other partner organizations. The Forum is to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road

During the event, government officials, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs, from around the world,

will deliberate on policies, research progress and industrial applications related to biomanufacturing and

bioeconomy. The speakers will cover a range of topics, including Biomanufacturing of Future Food,

Pharmaceuticals, Natural Products, Chemicals and Materials; New Resources for Biomanufacturing; and Enabling Technologies for Biomanufacturing.

The local hospitality of the selected speakers/participants will be covered by TIB. The deadline for submission of nominations along with all required document is 18th September 2023 to this office through the Director of concerned Campus for further processing and onward submission to COMSATS Headquarters for consideration.
