NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has unveiled a 10-point “People’s Economic Agreement” at a grand rally in Tharu Shah Chowk Bypass, Naushahro Feroze, Sindh. This manifesto aims to address key issues like inflation, unemployment, and poverty in Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Chairman Bilawal, during the Jalsa, emphasized the PPP’s goal to establish “people’s governments” in all four provinces and the Center after the elections scheduled for February 8. As the PPP’s prime ministerial candidate, he pledged to combat inflation, unemployment, and poverty if elected.
Chairman Bilawal referred to the severe impact of the 2022 floods on Naushahro Feroze, highlighting his commitment to building houses for flood-affected women. He mentioned his efforts in bringing international attention, including the UN Secretary-General, to Pakistan’s flood crisis, leading to the initiation of a significant house-building project.
The PPP chairman also addressed the educational challenges in the region, noting the destruction of schools by floods and the lack of a university in Naushahro Feroze. He assured that with the PPP’s victory, efforts would be intensified to rebuild schools and establish a university in the district.
Emphasizing the current election’s significance, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged voters to support the PPP, represented by the Arrow symbol, to ensure a sweeping victory. He called for securing all available seats for the party and winning those few seats missed in the last election.
Chairman Bilawal urged party supporters to actively promote the People’s Economic Agreement, advising them to go door-to-door with the manifesto. He further detailed the PPP’s plans to provide 300 units of solar power free to poor families, introduce the Benazir Kisan Card for farmers, the Benazir Mazdoor Card for laborers, and the Benazir Youth Cards for the youth to offer financial support and employment opportunities.
During the rally, Chairman Bilawal administered an oath to PPP candidates from Naushahro Feroze district. He emphasized their commitment to serve the people post-election, addressing their needs and providing employment opportunities beyond their families.
He concluded the rally by appealing for votes for PPP candidates Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Ghulam Qadir Chandio, and Dr. Bahadur Daheri in the Benazirabad district.
