Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Pledges to Combat Inflation and Unemployment with PPP’s 10-Point Agenda

Karachi, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has confidently laid out a 10-point agenda to address Pakistan’s critical issues of inflation, unemployment, and poverty. Speaking at a public meeting on the 16th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Ms. Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khudabakhsh, Zardari emphasized the PPP’s readiness to contest and win the upcoming elections.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated the PPP’s commitment to facing electoral challenges head-on, asserting their preparedness for the forthcoming polls. He honored the legacy of Shaheed Ms. Benazir Bhutto, stating her enduring influence within the PPP and its vision. Zardari criticized certain forces for attempting to suppress the party and the voices of various socio-economic groups in Pakistan.

Highlighting the PPP’s past accomplishments, including constitutional restoration, provincial autonomy, the Benazir Income Support Program, and political shifts, Zardari affirmed that the PPP is the only political party capable of steering the country through its present difficulties. He stressed the necessity of establishing a PPP government to alleviate the nation’s struggles.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also emphasized the PPP’s federal representation and its principled stance on fair elections, urging other parties to participate actively in the electoral process. He reflected on the outdated politics of other parties and leaders, asserting the PPP’s resolve to overcome these with a renewed approach.

Detailing the PPP’s experiences in a coalition government, Zardari expressed disillusionment with former allies, citing their disinterest in addressing public issues, economic challenges, and terrorism. The party has resolved to pursue its own path, guided by its ideology.

The 10-point agenda presented by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari focuses on critical national issues. Key priorities include doubling salaries in the next five years, establishing green energy parks, providing free green electricity to impoverished families, ensuring quality education, and offering world-class health facilities across the country. The ‘Apni Zamin, Apna Ghar’ program aims to provide housing for homeless families. The expansion of the Benazir Income Support Program and the introduction of the Kisan Card, Benazir Mazdoor Card, and Youth Card are also part of the agenda, targeting farmers, workers, and unemployed youth, respectively. Youth centers with various facilities will be established, and the ‘Hunger Eradication Programme’ will be implemented to combat inflation.

Addressing citizens across Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Wasib, Karachi, and Lahore, Zardari affirmed the PPP’s commitment to safeguarding people’s rights and aspirations. He announced his candidacy from Lahore, expressing confidence in the PPP’s prospects in the forthcoming elections.

The gathering concluded with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s proposal to present his election strategy at the joint CEC meeting of the PPP and PPP Parliament, met with enthusiastic support from the audience.
