Bahria University Seeking Deputy Director of Marketing with Strong PR and Digital Skills

ISLAMABAD, Bahria University has announced a vacancy for the position of Deputy Director Marketing at its head office, seeking a candidate with extensive experience in public relations and marketing, preferably within academic and corporate sectors.

According to Bahria University, the role requires a minimum qualification of MS/M.Phil., with 18 years of education from an HEC-recognized university in PR or Marketing. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Public Relations and Marketing, demonstrating the capability to create and implement Brand Management, PR, and Marketing strategies, alongside admirable team management skills.

The Deputy Director Marketing will operate under the strategic role of the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for leading a team focused on Digital Marketing, Publications, PR, and Brand Management. Key responsibilities include proactively securing PR/media coverage for university events and achievements, safeguarding and promoting the university’s brand identity, and ensuring consistent messaging across communication channels.

The position also entails overseeing the creation of engaging content for social media platforms, monitoring digital media marketing trends and analytics, providing creative direction for visually appealing publications, and effectively managing vendors and agencies. The candidate will also be responsible for networking and liaison with media houses, press, and relevant bodies, including the Directorate General Public Relations PN and the Press Information Department (PID).

The role demands staying abreast of marketing trends and industry best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the university’s marketing initiatives.
