Islamabad, Bahria University Islamabad H-11 Campus has officially released the schedule for its 26th convocation ceremony, marking a significant milestone for graduating students across various departments. The meticulously planned event is set to celebrate the achievements of students from the Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Earth and Environmental Sciences Departments.
According to Bahria University, the convocation ceremonies for the Electrical and Software Engineering Departments are scheduled for the morning of March 6, 2024, following a mandatory rehearsal on March 5. Similarly, students from the Computer Engineering and Earth and Environmental Sciences Departments will have their convocation in the afternoon of March 6, with rehearsals also taking place on the preceding day.
The university has outlined specific instructions for the participating graduates, emphasizing the importance of attending the designated rehearsal sessions. Graduates are required to present their original CNIC and a recent photograph for participation in both the rehearsal and the final ceremony. The dress code for the event is formal, with casual attire strictly prohibited.
Additionally, robes and gowns will be available for rent, with a refundable security deposit, and must be returned after the ceremony. Graduates and their guests must carry their original CNIC and the invitation card for entry, and are advised to regularly check the university’s website and their emails for updates on the convocation.
The university also notes that cell phones, bags, and purses will not be permitted on campus during the event, and children under the age of 12 are not allowed to attend.
