Bahawalpur, September 14, 2023 (PPI-OT): A memorandum of understanding was signed between Department of Physical Therapy, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and District Hospital Lodhran for clinical training of male and female students. In this regard, a special ceremony was held at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar and MS District Hospital Lodhran Dr. Aurangzeb signed the agreement document.

Chairman Physical Therapy Department Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, Prof. Dr. Raees Akhtar, Chairman Medical Lab Department, Dr. Irfan Siddiqui Physiotherapist District Health Hospital Lodhran, Faculty members Dr. Ayesha Bashir, Dr. Afifa Latif and Dr. Nasir Mehmood were present on this occasion. The participants hailed the agreement and said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is making significant progress in the field of allied health sciences and facilities are being provided to the students in local hospitals for practical training, which will increase their professional skills.
