Islamabad, In a significant call to action, Allama Agha Syed Hussain Maqdisi, the head of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqah Jafaria Pakistan (TNFJ), has proposed the formation of a “Peace Forum” by Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, and Afghanistan. This initiative aims to combat terrorism and counter global colonialism and Zionism. Maqdisi emphasized the role of this coalition as an “iron wall” against external threats and highlighted the importance of Islamic power as a defense for the oppressed.
According to Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqah Jafaria Pakistan, Allama Maqdisi, while addressing the Majlis Izzai Hussaini in Wah Cantt, condemned the recent incidents of terrorism in Pakistan, labeling them as a conspiracy against Islam and the country. He accused banned elements of inciting these acts of terrorism and criticized the allowance of such entities to participate in elections.
Maqdisi stressed that the terrorists, whom he described as neither Shiites nor Sunnis, are instead agents of foreign powers like the United States, Israel, and India. He asserted that Pakistan’s nuclear capability should be seen as a manifestation of Islamic power and a protective shield for the oppressed.
During his address, Maqdisi also pointed out the misuse of power by terrorist leaders and their foreign backers, who he claimed are responsible for running “factories of terror” in the country. He urged the nation’s sincere forces to legally incarcerate these prohibited elements.
Maqdisi further criticized the participation of terrorist and extremist groups in elections, questioning the decision to allow entities declared as terrorists to contest in the political arena. He recounted TNFJ’s negotiations with the Chief Election Commissioner, Sikandar Sultan Raja, on this issue.
Emphasizing the continuation of Mr. Mousavi’s teachings, Maqdisi reiterated his commitment to uphold the values of honor and morality and to continue advocating for truth. The event concluded with a mourning ceremony where participants from across Punjab paid homage.
