Al Baraka Bank Delegation Explores Collaboration with IIUI During Faisal Masjid Campus Visit

Islamabad, A delegation from Al Baraka Bank’s Global Board visited the Faisal Masjid campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), aiming to explore collaboration and foster environmental sustainability. The delegation was led by Dr. Jehad El Nakla, Chairman of the Al Baraka Bank Board, and included Muhammad Atif Hanif, CEO and President Al Baraka Bank, and Muhammad Umar Pasha, Group Head of Service Quality/EVP.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the delegation was received by Nasir Farid, Incharge Protocol and Public Relations, who provided a briefing on IIUI’s services and its role in promoting higher education. As part of the visit, the delegation participated in a tree-planting ceremony as part of the “One Tree, One Staff, Every Year” plantation drive, symbolizing the commitment to environmental conservation.

Discussions during the visit focused on potential collaboration between Al Baraka Bank and IIUI, with a specific emphasis on making the campus greener and promoting sustainable practices. The delegation also explored the Faisal Mosque, showing interest in its architecture and the Quran classes conducted there.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the visit and agreed to continue exploring collaborative projects in the future. The delegation left with a deeper understanding of the cultural and academic significance of IIUI and the Faisal Mosque, indicating a shared commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships.
