Faisalabad: Trials have commenced at the National Textile University (NTU) Faisalabad for the Pakistan Inter-University Badminton Championship 2026, organized under the auspices of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

According to National Textile University, the trials, which began as a two-day event, saw the participation of approximately 70 students. The students displayed their skills as they vied for a chance to represent their university at the national level. Present at the trials were Advisor Students Dr. Danish Mehmood, Incharge Sports Waqar Ahmad, and Sports Officer Imran Ali Gill, who evaluated the performances of the participants.

Dr. Danish Mehmood emphasized the university's commitment to promoting both curricular and co-curricular activities. He noted that those students who demonstrate exceptional skills during the trials will be selected to represent NTU at the HEC level in the upcoming championship.
