UET Lahore Undertakes Comprehensive Graduate Program Review for 2025-26

LAHORE: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, through its Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), has commenced a Graduate Program Review (GPR) for the academic year 2025-26. The review, which began on June 23, 2026, aligns with guidelines set by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and adheres to the PREE Standards 2025-26. It has been approved by the Vice Chancellor and will continue on June 24, 2026.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, the review covers 109 PhD, MS, M.Phil., and equivalent postgraduate programs across multiple campuses, including the Main Campus, Faisalabad Campus, Kala Shah Kaku Campus, Rachna College of Engineering and Technology (RCET), and Narowal Campus. Academic departments have submitted their Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) and supporting documentation for evaluation by designated Program Assessment Teams.

The review is conducted by a panel of directors from QECs of five public and private universities, along with internal reviewers. These reviewers are tasked with assessing program compliance with PREE Standards and identifying areas for continuous improvement. Following the review activities, the panel met with the Vice Chancellor to discuss observations and preliminary findings, acknowledging the university's dedication to academic quality and the QEC's effective coordination.

The Vice Chancellor praised the QEC team for their successful organization and management of the review process, reaffirming UET Lahore's commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement. Commemorative shields were presented to the review panel members in recognition of their contributions to enhancing the university's quality assurance culture.
