Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has completed the second phase of the Combined Entrance Test (ECAT-2026) for undergraduate admissions. Conducted from June 17 to June 21, 2026, the computer-based test spanned multiple sessions across UET Lahore, its constituent campuses, and partner institutions throughout Punjab.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, a spokesperson confirmed that 24,288 candidates participated in ECAT-2026 (Phase-II). The test, conducted over 100-minute sessions without negative marking, was administered at 10 locations, including UET Lahore Main Campus, UET Faisalabad Campus, and others. Results will be announced on June 23, 2026, after which the online admission application process will begin. Amendments to applications will be allowed from July 12 to July 14, 2026, for a fee, with the final submission deadline set for July 15, 2026.

Merit lists for undergraduate admissions will be displayed on July 24, August 7, August 14, and August 21, 2026. Admitted students can apply for a change in programme preference from August 28 to August 30, 2026, with a subsequent merit list release on September 1, 2026. Regular classes for new students will start on September 7, 2026. The university administration expressed gratitude to all involved for the smooth execution of ECAT-2026, emphasizing its dedication to a transparent and merit-based admissions process.
