Karachi: Two alumni from Habib University have been recognized in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list for their contributions to finance and venture capital. Muhammad Furqan Karim Kidwai and Sarfraz Shahid Hussain, co-founders of Plouton AI, have been acknowledged among 300 regional innovators from nearly 4,000 nominations worldwide.

According to Habib University, the duo's startup, Plouton AI, has been pioneering advancements in deep-tech, focusing on automating finance operations for mid-market enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region. Their innovation bypasses traditional costly software systems, offering AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. The startup's unique approach replaces the Software-as-a-Service model with Service-as-a-Software, providing virtual workforce capabilities that are both scalable and economical.

The selection process for the Forbes accolade involved multiple stages, including rigorous evaluations by editors and a specialized jury. Despite being in the early stages, Plouton AI stood out due to its founders' technical expertise and prior experience in fintech, drawing attention from the Forbes panel.
