Habib University and PKIC Forge Alliance for Fully Funded Scholarships

KARACHI: Habib University and Pakistan Kuwait Investment Company (Private) Limited (PKIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide fully funded scholarships for academically talented students lacking financial resources.

According to Habib University, the partnership underscores the university's dedication to educational equity and accessibility. This initiative aims to eliminate financial obstacles, allowing students to access a liberal arts and sciences education they might not otherwise afford.

President Wasif Rizvi emphasized the role of corporate philanthropy in the university's mission, noting PKIC's contribution as crucial to offering transformative educational experiences. He stated that ongoing corporate investment is vital for strengthening the country's intellectual infrastructure.

PKIC's Managing Director, Saad Ur Rehman, described the scholarships as a strategic investment in Pakistan's intellectual and economic future, highlighting the role of corporate responsibility in national development.
