Karachi: Habib University celebrated its annual President's Dinner on May 22nd, marking a significant milestone for the graduating Class of 2026. The event, themed "The Next Chapter Begins," gathered students, faculty, and benefactors to honor academic achievements and inspire the graduates to embrace the challenges ahead.
According to Habib University, the event's highlight was a keynote address by Sammer Sultan, Co-Chairwoman of Shan Foods and benefactor of the Endowed Chair in History, Heritage, and Archives. Sultan addressed the graduates, urging them to withstand the psychological and intellectual challenges of modern society. President Wasif Rizvi also addressed the audience, using the metaphor of the genie's lamp to discuss global responsibility.
