FAISALABAD: The Quality Enhancement Cell of the National Textile University has concluded the self-assessment process for its Bachelor of Fashion Design, Bachelor of Textile Design, Bachelor of Visual Arts, and Bachelor of Animation and Multimedia Design programs. The assessments, completed on June 4, 2026, adhered to the Higher Education Commission guidelines based on the new PSG-2023 framework.

According to National Textile University, the assessment process involved an external team led by Dr. Ayesha Hussain, an Assistant Professor at GCWUF. The team included lecturers Mr. Muhammad Afzal, Mr. Muhammad Saqib, and Ms. Maryam Rasool from SOAD, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Usman Javed. Dr. Zafar Javed, Dean of SOAD, was also present during the evaluation. The team reviewed the programs based on HEC's self-assessment criteria and suggested improvements accordingly.
