Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal Inaugurates Daycare Centre at UET Narowal Campus

Narowal: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Chaudhry Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated a daycare center at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore's Narowal Campus. The ceremony also marked the laying of the foundation stone for a new architecture building at the campus.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, Federal Minister Iqbal's visit included a tour of the new daycare facility, where he was briefed on the available resources and its intended purpose. The centre aims to support working parents, especially university employees, by providing child care facilities that allow them to manage their professional duties alongside family responsibilities.

The inauguration was attended by UET Lahore Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Punjab Higher Education Commission Chairman Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, and Narowal Campus Coordinator Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz. The initiative is seen as a step toward enhancing campus facilities and promoting an environment conducive to both work and family life.

The development aligns with UET Lahore's strategy to offer supportive amenities for its staff and create a more inclusive community for all members of the university.
