Narowal: Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Chaudhry Ahsan Iqbal has inaugurated the National Innovation Centre at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore's Narowal Campus. The event was attended by UET Lahore Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairman of the Punjab Higher Education Commission Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, and Narowal Campus Coordinator Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, the inauguration is aimed at promoting innovation, creativity, and research-driven initiatives at the university level. The National Innovation Centre is anticipated to offer students and researchers opportunities to explore innovative ideas, develop practical solutions, and engage in activities that support entrepreneurship and technological advancement.

The initiative underscores the importance of enhancing collaboration among academia, industry, and relevant stakeholders to foster the development of new ideas and transform research into practical applications.
