NCA Red-Ball Cricket Camp Begins Tuesday in Lahore

Lahore: The National Cricket Academy (NCA) is set to initiate its red-ball cricket camp on Tuesday, September 9, in Lahore. Eleven cricketers are expected to participate, with their arrival scheduled for Monday, September 8. The camp, continuing until September 28, will be managed by interim red-ball head coach Azhar Mahmood, alongside NCA coaches and support staff.

The purpose of the camp is to offer players the opportunity to hone their skills and evaluate their fitness levels in preparation for an active red-ball international and domestic season. The selected players are currently not participating in the ongoing four-day Hanif Mohammad Trophy.

Throughout the 20-day camp, the cricketers will engage in training sessions at the National Cricket Academy and participate in scenario-based matches.

The roster of players, listed alphabetically, includes Abdullah Shafique, Ali Raza, Azan Awais, Babar Azam, Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Salman, Rohail Nazir, Sajid Khan, and Shamyl Hussain.
