First Phase of Cricket Skills Camp Wraps Up in Lahore

Lahore: The first phase of the National Cricket Academy’s Skills Development camp has successfully concluded in Lahore. A total of thirteen players participated in the six-day camp, which began on June 16.

Throughout the camp, players engaged in skill development and fitness sessions. Morning activities included fielding and fitness exercises, while the afternoons were dedicated to net practice. The camp concluded with scenario-based matches held at the LCCA ground over the final two days.

The players involved in this initial phase were Abrar Ahmed, Ahmed Daniyal, Babar Azam, Hasan Nawaz, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Salman Mirza, and Sufyan Moqim.

The second phase of the camp, scheduled to start on June 23, will feature 15 players. Among them, Mohammad Nawaz will continue from the first phase. The roster for this phase includes Aamir Jamal, Ali Raza, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Hussain Talat, Khawaja Mohammad Nafay, Mehran Mumtaz, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Faiq, Mubasir Khan, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Saud Shakeel, Shahid Aziz, and Yasir Khan.

The camp aims to enhance the skills and fitness of emerging cricket players, forming a crucial part of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s development strategy.
