PEC Conducts Re-Accreditation Visit for University of Central Punjab’s Civil Engineering Program

Lahore: The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) recently undertook a re-accreditation visit to the University of Central Punjab's B.Sc. Civil Engineering Program. The visit, hosted by the Faculty of Engineering, involved a detailed evaluation of the university's infrastructure, facilities, and academic resources to ensure alignment with PEC standards.

According to University of Central Punjab, Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Shad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, provided a comprehensive overview of the university's hierarchy and facilities at the outset of the visit. Following this, detailed briefings were given on the Faculty of Engineering and the specific Civil Engineering program. The PEC team conducted thorough assessments of classrooms, laboratories, and equipment to gauge their adequacy in delivering quality engineering education.

The visit concluded with an exit meeting involving the Pro-Rector, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and the Head of the Department. During this meeting, the convener of the PEC team shared key findings and offered suggestions based on their assessment, which aimed to enhance the program's compliance with PEC standards.
