Lahore: The University of Central Punjab has announced the selection of 22 faculty members for its 2026 Faculty Industry Placement Program (FIPP). The announcement was made during an orientation session led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC), who outlined the program's objectives and anticipated outcomes.
According to University of Central Punjab, the FIPP initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by placing faculty members in various sectors during the summer of 2026. The program is designed to enhance the practical skills of faculty members and foster collaboration between the university and industry partners.
