Islamabad, The results for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) programs for the Autumn 2023 semester have been released by Allama Iqbal Open University. The university has also detailed the provisions for students needing to reappear in examinations under specific conditions.

According to Allama Iqbal Open University, students can access their results by visiting the official enrollment portal. The university has also explained the Final Exam Reappear (FER) system, which allows students who did not pass their final exams on the first try to reappear. The FER1 tag denotes a first reappear chance in the final exam only, with continuous assessment marks carried over to the next semester. Similarly, the FER2 tag provides a second and final chance to reappear for the final exam only, transferring continuous assessment marks from the Spring 2023 semester to the Autumn 2023 semester.

For students who fail to clear their final exam component even after their second attempt under FER2, the university mandates re-admission into the course, requiring them to repeat all components of the course, including the final exam. Additionally, if a student passes the final exam but fails to achieve a cumulative 40% mark, they must also take re-admission to improve their score.
