Altaf Shakoor Mourns Late Iranian President, Lauds His Efforts for Muslim Unity

Karachi, Altaf Shakoor, leader of the Pasban Democratic Party, expressed profound sorrow over the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, who was killed in a plane crash. Shakoor praised Raisi’s efforts to unify the Muslim Ummah and highlighted his recent diplomatic outreach, including a significant visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to Pasban Democratic Party, Shakoor noted Iran’s consistent support for Pakistan during challenging times and lauded Raisi’s leadership qualities. “When Ibrahim Raisi arrived in Pakistan, the nation welcomed him wholeheartedly,” Shakoor remarked, emphasizing the strong bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Iran. He also praised Raisi’s courageous stance against Israeli aggression and his role in advancing Iran’s economic and technological development despite international sanctions.

Shakoor described Raisi’s death as a substantial loss for the Muslim Ummah, portraying him as a leader of great intellect and energy whose absence will be deeply felt. He reassured that the historical alliance between Pakistan and Iran remains unbreakable, stating, “No power in the world can break this strong bond of friendship and brotherhood.” In a time of mourning, Shakoor affirmed that the Pakistani nation and the Pasban Democratic Party stand in solidarity with Iran, offering condolences to Raisi’s family and the Iranian people.
