Oxfam Launches Second Cohort of Young Leaders Fellowship Program in Asia

Islamabad, Oxfam in Asia and Asia Centre have announced the launch of the second cohort of their Young Leaders Fellowship Program. This initiative seeks to develop a cadre of young leaders equipped to drive social change within their communities across Asia.

According to Pak NGOs, the program is designed to provide fellows with the necessary tools, skills, knowledge, and networks to effectively contribute to various causes such as gender justice, economic inequality, and climate justice. The fellows will receive close mentorship, participate in hands-on projects, and gain international exposure, including a stipend of USD 3600 distributed over the course of nine months.

The fellowship also includes an induction workshop in Bangkok, monthly online meetings, and the opportunity to lead activities and network with over 50 other youth. Applicants must be citizens of specific Asian countries, under 27 years old, and demonstrate a strong motivation for social advocacy. Women and individuals from minority communities are especially encouraged to apply.
