University of Haripur Conducts Workshop on Enhancing Postgraduate Programs and Institutional Evaluation

Haripur, In a move to bolster the effectiveness of higher education, the University of Haripur’s Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) recently held a three-day training workshop. The event focused on the critical review of Postgraduate Programs and Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) to promote self-assessment practices among academic staff and QEC focal persons.

According to The University of Haripur, the workshop was led by two notable trainers, Mr. Imran Ullah Marwat, Director of Quality Assurance at HED Peshawar, and Dr. Waqar Ul Hassan, Director of QEC at Salim Habib University Karachi. Dr. Shah Masood Khan, the Director of QEC at the University of Haripur, chaired the sessions, facilitating discussions on current best practices, methodologies, and strategies crucial for the thorough review and evaluation of academic programs.

The training attracted QEC members from the university, who engaged in various activities including interactive sessions and knowledge-sharing exercises, all designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of postgraduate education. Emphasis was placed on the importance of continuous improvement and adoption of quality enhancement measures in academic institutions.
