University of Sindh Pays Homage to Late Iftikhar Ahmed Narejo in Condolence Reference

Jamshoro, The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, recently hosted a poignant condolence reference to honor the memory of its former Deputy Director, Iftikhar Ahmed Narejo. The event, presided over by Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Vice Chancellor of the University, saw the participation of fellow officers, teachers, employees, and the late officer’s two sons. Held in the Senate Hall of the Vice-Chancellor Secretariat, attendees paid heartfelt tributes to Narejo’s legacy and recounted their memories with him.

According to University of Sindh, Dr. Kalhoro, in his address, lauded Narejo’s honesty and dedication to his duties at the university. He shared that Narejo was recently transferred from Deputy Director of Admissions to Deputy Controller in the Semester Controller’s office, reflecting the trust and reliance placed on his integrity and work ethic. Kalhoro, along with other speakers, offered prayers for Narejo’s departed soul.

Registrar Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ali Jariko provided an overview of Narejo’s professional journey at the university, including the various roles he had assumed since joining the institution. The commemoration brought together colleagues such as Abdul Majeed Panhoh, Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah, and others, who shared personal anecdotes and highlighted Narejo’s significant contributions to the University of Sindh.

The event concluded with a recitation of the Qal by Manzoor Ali Panhoh for Narejo’s eternal peace, followed by a collective prayer. The condolence reference served not only as a testament to Narejo’s impactful career but also as a moment for the university community to come together in remembrance and respect for their colleague and friend.
