Islamabad, At the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), a significant faculty board meeting took place on Monday in the Faculty of Usuluddin (Islamic Studies) seminar room at the New Campus. Presided over by H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President of IIUI, the gathering aimed to evaluate and enhance research initiatives within the faculty.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the board meticulously reviewed research proposals from MS and PhD scholars across various departments within the Faculty of Usuluddin. Dr. Alotaibi emphasized the importance of conducting research that not only advances academic knowledge but also addresses societal needs, urging scholars to venture into new and innovative areas of study.
The meeting saw participation from esteemed external members, including Prof. Dr. Abdul Hameed Abbassi, Chairman of Mohi Uddin Islamic University (AJK), and Dr. Noor Hayat from Numl University. The internal faculty was well-represented by Deputy Dean Dr. Taj Afser, Prof. Dr. Abdul Kareem Essa, Prof. Dr. Haroon Ur Rashid, and all department chairmen, who collectively offered recommendations for furthering the faculty’s research objectives.
