Islamabad, The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) is actively progressing on its ambitious project for campus expansion and upgradation, as evidenced by the recent meeting of its core project execution committee. Chaired by IIUI Rector Dr. Samina Malik and co-chaired by President Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, the committee convened to assess the development of the project’s various components.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the meeting brought together vice presidents, relevant directors, and the project coordinator to review the advancement of the project’s PC-1 components. The committee underscored the importance of establishing a special unit within the IT section to prioritize the campus management system and address any arising issues.
During the session, the committee examined critical components of the project against the approaching deadline, urging the responsible parties to meet the timeline and ensure completion as per the project’s specifications. Discussions also covered the progress of tenders, the expansion and upgrading of network equipment, optical fiber cabling, and the procurement of furniture and office equipment. Moreover, the committee emphasized the need for strict adherence to the result-based monitoring framework to maintain focus on the project’s completion date.
