University of Punjab to Host Ph.D. Defense on India’s Power Dynamics Under Modi

Lahore, The University of the Punjab has scheduled a public defense and viva voce examination for Ms. Zainab Iftikhar, a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations, focusing on the significant subject of India’s geopolitical strategies under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and their implications for Pakistan. The event is set to take place on March 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Department of Political Science.

According to University of The Punjab, Ms. Iftikhar’s thesis, titled “Indian Power Game under Modi: Implications for Pakistan,” has been prepared under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Iram Khalid and Dr. Muhammad Shareh Qazi. This academic endeavor aims to shed light on the evolving dynamics of India’s foreign policy and strategic posture under its current leadership, exploring the consequential impacts on Pakistan.
