Islamabad, Bahria University’s Shaheen e Iqbal (Iqbal Chair) has launched a comprehensive workshop series aimed at students interested in developing and managing university clubs. The series, organized in collaboration with Youth Club and Dot World Media, is designed to offer valuable insights and practical skills for enhancing personal growth and leadership abilities.
According to Bahria University, the series consists of five workshops covering key aspects of club management, including initiation, event management, collaboration with speakers and sponsors, volunteer acquisition and management, and strategies for effective event coverage and marketing. The workshops are scheduled from Monday, 26th February 2024, to Friday, 1st March 2024, with each session running from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the university’s Moot Court Room.
The kick-off workshop, “How to Begin with the Club,” sets the tone for the series, followed by sessions focused on managing events, reaching out to speakers and sponsors, managing volunteers, and marketing events effectively. This initiative reflects Bahria University’s commitment to fostering a vibrant campus culture by empowering students with the tools and knowledge necessary to lead successful clubs and organizations.
