ISLAMABAD, Senator Palusha Khan of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has alleged that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is behind recent attacks on PPP offices in Lahore and Karachi, calling for the Election Commission to intervene.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Senator Khan, during a press conference with Media Coordinator Nazir Dhokhi, claimed that the attacks on PPP offices were part of a strategy to incite provincial bias and a conspiracy against the party. She criticized PML-N for its divisive politics, citing past slogans and a recent statement by a League leader prohibiting people from Sindh from entering Punjab. Senator Khan welcomed Nawaz Sharif to contest elections in Larkana, stating that the PPP would embrace such a move. She also called for the Election Commission and PML-N to acknowledge and address the biased statements and actions.
Khan further commented on PML-N’s current political stance, questioning the party’s leadership and manifesto in the upcoming elections. She accused PML-N of repeatedly failing to deliver to the people during its tenure in power and suggested that the party’s leadership is in disarray. Senator Khan emphasized that the political decision on February 8 will be made through the ballot, urging people to choose wisely, and implying that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s campaign has significantly impacted PML-N.
