Lahore, July 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): It is informed that Pakistan Athletics Team will depart today (09/07/2023) for Bangkok, Thailand via Thai Airways Flight No. TG0346 for participation in 25th Asian Athletics Championships scheduled from 12-16 July 2023.

The following talented athletes will represent Pakistan in this prestigious sporting event and compete against top athletes from across the continent:

1. Shajar Abbas – 100m and 200m

2. Abdul Mueed – 200m and 400m

3. Muhammad Yasir – Javelin Throw

4. Esha Imran – 200m and 400m

Coach of Mr. Shajar Abbas will be accompanying the team to provide guidance and support, ensuring that the athletes perform their best.

It is worth mentioning that the President and Secretary General of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) will also be present in Bangkok to attend the 25th Congress of the Asian Athletics Association scheduled on 11th July 2023.

The Team will return to Lahore on 18 July 2023 via Thai Airways Flight No. TG0345.
