Karachi, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and Central Information Secretary of Pakistan People’s Party, Faisal Karim Kundi has reacted to Imran Khan’s speech and said that a certified thief is trying to cheat people on GT Road. He said that Imran Khan should look into his own neck before criticizing President Asif Ali Zardari and learn to speak with distinction before speaking against Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Faisal Karim Kundi questioned that if Imran Khan was innocent, why did he continue to take injunctions from the courts and why did he continue to run away from the Election Commission for six years in the prohibited foreign funding case? Imran Khan has so far taken an injunction to stop the investigation of mega corruption cases in Malam Jabba, Blintree and BRT. Faisal Karim Kundi said that Imran Khan robbed the people with both hands by creating wheat and sugar crisis. Sindh Chief Minister’s Special Assistant on Human Rights Surinder Vilasai has formed a fact-finding committee to investigate the killing of two innocent employees of a telecom company by a mob in Machhar Colony area of Karachi last week

Karachi, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister for Human Rights, Surinder Valasai, member of the Sindh Human Rights Commission to investigate the killing of two innocent employees of a telecom company by a mob in Machhar area of Karachi last week. A fact-finding committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Ayub Khoso. Three other members of the Provincial Human Rights Vigilance Committee, Kashif Bajeer, Syed Mehmood Alam Shah Advocate and Shakra Siddiqui Advocate are also included in the fact-finding committee.

Sindh Human Rights Department Secretary Noreen Bashir has also issued an official notification in this regard. The said fact-finding committee will investigate the causes of the tragic incident at the hands of the mob and identify the psychological and other factors behind the increase in such incidents and recommend remedial measures to the government to curb this trend. Will make recommendations.

Chairman PPP and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expresses the grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of two security personnel in Balochistan

Karachi, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of two personnel of security forces during an operation against terrorists in Balochistan. Four terrorists were also killed in the exchange of fire between the forces and terrorists during the operation in the Kaman Pass area of Balochistan.

According to the statement issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, Chairman PPP paid glowing tribute to the martyred personnel, Shafiullah and Sepoy Mohammad Qaiser, and said that both the martyrs were brave sons of the motherland. “Sacrifice of the martyrs will not go in vain,” he added. Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan would not tolerate any form of terrorism on its soil. He expressed condolences and solidarity with the families of the martyred personnel.

Naib approved as replacement for Zazai in the Afghanistan squad

Dubai, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 has approved Gulbadin Naib as a replacement for Hazratullah Zazai in the Afghanistan squad. Naib who is a travelling reserve was named as a replacement after Zazai was ruled out due to an abdominal muscle strain.

The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad. The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 consists of Wasim Khan, ICC General Manager – Cricket (Chair); Chris Tetley, ICC Head of Events; Peter Roach, Cricket Australia, Shane Doyle, Men’s T20 World Cup Local Organising Committee; Shaun Pollock (Independent) and Ian Bishop (Independent).

Ali Ishaq replaces injured Shamyl Hussain

Lahore, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Opening batter Shamyl Hussain has been ruled out of the Pakistan U19 series against Bangladesh U19 due to fracture in his right thumb. Pakistan and Bangladesh will play a four-dayer, three 45-over-per-side fixtures and two T20s at the Multan Cricket Stadium from 4 to 18 November. Northern’s left-handed batter Shamyl, who was part of the squad for two T20s will be replaced by another left-handed batter Ali Ishaq.

Ali had represented Sindh U19 Whites in the National U19 tournaments (50-over and three-day) and had topped the batting charts in the National U19 Cup, scoring 316 runs from five matches, which included two centuries. The 19-year old had also represented Rawalpindi Raiders in the recently concluded inaugural edition of Pakistan Junior League.

Pick order for HBL PSL 2023 Player Draft finalised

Lahore, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick in the HBL Pakistan Super League 2023 Player Draft. The Pick Order was decided through a random draw on Monday at the Pakistan Cricket Board offices and participated by representatives of the six franchises. The winners of the 2019 edition, Quetta Gladiators, and 2021 championships, Multan Sultans, will have second and third picks. The fourth and fifth picks will be done by 2020 winners Karachi Kings and two-time champions (2016 and 2018) Islamabad United.

Peshawar Zalmi, who won the first final of the HBL PSL to be played in Pakistan in 2017, will make the sixth pick. The next 17 rounds were decided through a special statistical tool. Usman Wahla, PSL 8 Tournament Director: “We have set small milestones for our flagship event and Pick Order for HBL PSL 2023 was one of the targets. This has set the tone for this year’s Player Draft as the teams will now have absolute clarity on their turn and how they will make best use of their chances to pick players for one of the most grueling and fiercely-contested leagues.

“Player Registration window for foreign players is also open and we are receiving encouraging responses, which is a testament to the reputation of the HBL PSL and how much the top players want to be part of it. “Next year’s event will be staged at four venues – Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan – and we are working extremely hard to not only deliver this event according to its stature and reputation, but also introduce a few initiatives to make the event more spectator-friendly.” The details about the HBL PSL 2023 Player Draft will be announced in due course.
