Naib approved as replacement for Zazai in the Afghanistan squad 

Dubai, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 has approved Gulbadin Naib as a replacement for Hazratullah Zazai in the Afghanistan squad. Naib who is a travelling reserve was named as a replacement after Zazai was ruled out due to an abdominal muscle strain.

The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad. Ali Ishaq replaces injured Shamyl Hussain 

Lahore, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Opening batter Shamyl Hussain has been ruled out of the Pakistan U19 series against Bangladesh U19 due to fracture in his right thumb. Pakistan and Bangladesh will play a four-dayer, three 45-over-per-side fixtures and two T20s at the Multan Cricket Stadium from 4 to 18 November. Pick order for HBL PSL 2023 Player Draft finalised

Lahore, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick in the HBL Pakistan Super League 2023 Player Draft. The Pick Order was decided through a random draw on Monday at the Pakistan Cricket Board offices and participated by representatives of the six franchises. The winners of the 2019 edition, Quetta Gladiators, and 2021 championships, Multan Sultans, will have second and third picks. The fourth and fifth picks will be done by 2020 winners Karachi Kings and two-time champions (2016 and 2018) Islamabad United.

Peshawar Zalmi, who won the first final of the HBL PSL to be played in Pakistan in 2017, will make the sixth pick. The next 17 rounds were decided through a special statistical tool.
