Study Abroad Fair

Karachi, August 24, 2021 (PPI-OT): DSU’s IERC would like to bring to the attention of DSU’s students and alumni that IDP (International Education Specialists) are organizing a Study Abroad Fair on 28th August 2021 at Karachi Marriott Hotel from 12:00 – 5:00pm. Mr. Kashif Naveed (General Manager Dawood Export, Faisalabad) and his team visited NTRC

Faisalabad, August 24, 2021 (PPI-OT): Mr. Kashif Naveed (General Manager Dawood Export, Faisalabad) and his team visited National Textile Research Centre (NTRC) to have an overview of R and D, testing and Product Development facilities available at the Centre. The team was briefed about the activities at NTRC and available facilities therein. Both parties chalked out the key areas for joint R and D, availing the accredited testing services at NTRC and supporting technology commercialization.

Workshop on Colour Science for Designers

Faisalabad, August 24, 2021 (PPI-OT): An interesting workshop on ‘Colour Science for designers’ was arranged for the students of 6th Semester, BTD. The Energetic Director of the School of Arts and Design, Dr. Zafar Javed, was the resource person. He explained and discussed in detail the visual perception of colour and design, Colorimetry, metamerism, and Colour theories. The workshop was very fruitful for the learners as colour is a vital tool for designers and artists. Design Students were amazed and delighted by the concept of listening to colours by sounds and how gender affects the perception of colour.
