43% of Pakistanis believe that the negative effects of mobile phones outweigh the positive effects: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, August 06, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 43% of Pakistanis believe that the negative effects of mobile phones outweigh the positive effects.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Some people think that the advent of mobile phones has had negative effects on society. On the other hand, others think that mobile phones have had positive impacts. Do you think that there are more negative or positive effects of mobile phones?” In response to this question, 43% said negative effects, 34% said positive effects, 15% did not know while 8% did not respond.
