LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, in collaboration with the Punjab Agriculture Research Board (PARB), conducted an interactive guidance session focused on the PARB Competitive Grant System at the City Campus Lahore. The event aimed to provide insights into securing research grants and addressing pivotal issues in the agriculture and livestock sectors.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the session featured Dr. Abid Mehmood, Chief Executive Officer of PARB, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on accessing PARB research projects. Dr. Mehmood highlighted priority research areas, including livestock, agriculture products, and vaccine development, while addressing current challenges and proposing solutions. He emphasized PARB's role in funding research projects that tackle challenges faced by agriculture and livestock stakeholders.

Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani emphasized the importance of aligning research projects with public needs to maximize societal benefits. The session was attended by a significant number of UVAS researchers, faculty members, and PARB officials.
