Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Emphasizes Literacy as Key to Empowerment on International Literacy Day

KARACHI: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, highlighted the importance of literacy as a cornerstone for an empowered society, emphasizing that every child has the right to education, dreams, and a better future.

According to a press release issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, Bhutto Zardari stated that International Literacy Day serves as a reminder that the spread of knowledge should reach every household, regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, or other circumstances. He called for equal educational opportunities for girls, disadvantaged children, and those in underserved areas.

Bhutto Zardari reflected on the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto for a Pakistan where every child has access to education and can fully engage in national life. He reiterated the PPP's dedication to using education and literacy as tools for social justice and democratic empowerment, underscoring that giving every child the ability to read opens new possibilities.
