University of Turbat Affiliation Committee Endorses Academic Reforms for Quality Assurance

Turbat: The University of Turbat's Affiliation Committee has approved several measures to enhance academic standards and quality assurance across its affiliated colleges. These initiatives, discussed in the committee's ninth meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor, Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Languages, aim to update academic programs, curricula, teaching methodologies, and examination procedures.

According to University of Turbat, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan highlighted the importance of these reforms as part of the university's Strategic Plan 2030. He noted that ensuring modern technology use and quality assurance is crucial for affiliated colleges. The committee, along with the Quality Enhancement Cell and the Examination Department, is committed to enforcing quality assurance protocols and adhering to HEC regulations. These efforts are expected to improve faculty qualification, teaching practices, curricula, and infrastructure, while also enhancing coordination with the provincial Education Department and university administration.

The meeting was attended by several key university officials, including Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Kamal Ahmed and Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, underscoring the collaborative effort to achieve these educational objectives.
