Karachi: Elections at Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) resulted in the unopposed election of three faculty members to the university's Syndicate. Dr. Subhash Guriro, an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Development Sciences, secured the seat reserved for Associate Professor. Additionally, Mr. Asif Hussain Samo, Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration, and Mr. Shafique Ahmed, Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Banking, and Finance, were elected to the Assistant Professor and Lecturer seats for a three-year term.

According to Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, Vice Chancellor of SMIU, extended his congratulations to the newly elected Syndicate members. He highlighted their esteemed position within the university's key statutory body and expressed optimism about their continued contribution to the institution's development. The new members conveyed their gratitude to the faculty for the trust placed in them to represent their interests.
