Lahore: A seminar titled "Improving ESL Learning Through ArticuBot: An AI-Based Tool for Communication Skills" highlighted innovative approaches to enhancing English as a Second Language (ESL) education through artificial intelligence. The event, hosted by the Faculty of Languages and Literature, featured discussions on AI-assisted language learning and practical demonstrations of chatbot technology.
According to University of Central Punjab, the session was conducted by Ms. Irum Shahzadi, a PhD scholar from Sultan Zainal Abidin University. It focused on the application of AI tools like ArticuBot and Google Dialogflow in improving communication skills. Participants, including students and faculty members, engaged in discussions about the role of AI in language education. Ms. Shahzadi demonstrated the development of AI-based responses and the handling of user queries using chatbot technology. The seminar concluded with Prof. Dr. Tahir Saleem, Head of Department, presenting a souvenir to Ms. Shahzadi.
