Karachi, Virtual University (VU) has issued a notice requiring all students who were provisionally admitted during the Fall 2023 admissions to physically verify their educational documents. This verification process is crucial for the final confirmation of their admission and eligibility to participate in mid-term examinations.
According to Virtual University, students who have not yet appeared for physical verification of their documents are advised to visit the nearest VU office or campus between November 28 and December 4, 2023. The university has specified that this process is mandatory for students to complete before the commencement of mid-term examinations on December 4. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of admission and the status being marked as “Withdrawn.”
The notice emphasizes the importance of physical presence for document verification, stating that any person appearing on behalf of a student will not be accepted. Students are required to bring original academic transcripts, result cards, degrees, certificates, their CNIC or B-Form, two attested passport size photographs with a blue background, and two sets of attested copies of all educational documents.
Additionally, students are instructed to write their Admission Form No. or VU ID on the top right corner of each document for identification purposes. The university has made provisions for students to visit any VU campus or office for verification, not limited to the allocated city listed in Annexure ‘A’.
This announcement specifically targets provisionally admitted students who have not yet undergone physical verification of documents at any VU campus or office. Students who have already confirmed their admissions and presented their documents are exempted from this requirement. Overseas students will receive separate communication regarding their verification process.
Virtual University has provided the option for students facing any difficulties to contact the Registrar’s office via email or tickets for assistance. This initiative is part of VU’s commitment to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the legitimacy of its student body.
