Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) marked World Veterinary Day by hosting the “Veterinary Joint Venture 2024” at its City Campus on Tuesday. The event, organized by the Vets Care Club of UVAS, brought together experts from various sectors to discuss the pivotal roles of veterinarians in health and animal welfare.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the seminar featured a diverse panel of experts, including Prof Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, and other notable figures such as Dr. Asim Mehmood Khan, CEO of Forward Solution, and Abdul Kareem Bhatti, Managing Director of Big Bird. The panel discussions focused on the critical roles veterinarians play as essential health workers, the importance of animal welfare legislation, and various challenges within the livestock sector.
