Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, in partnership with Selmore Pharmaceutical, conducted a career guidance session at its Ravi Campus Pattoki, offering students insights into private sector job opportunities, particularly in sales and marketing.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the session covered various aspects of private sector sales and marketing structures, job opportunities at Selmore Pharmaceuticals, and an introduction to the company’s market-available products. Dr. Zahid Iqbal highlighted the importance of refining marketing skills for upcoming graduates and discussed the essential skills needed to become a successful farm consultant.

The concluding session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Saima, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Production and Technology. She commended the organizers for arranging a session on such an informative topic. Prof. Dr. Aneela Zameer Durrani also spoke at the event, emphasizing the significance of such sessions in preparing young students for employment in different organizations post-graduation, thereby enhancing their career prospects.

Officials from Selmore Pharmaceuticals, including Mr. Muhammad Saeed (NSM Panthers Division), Dr. Qurat ul Ain (Product Development Manager), Mirza Faheem (Sales Manager), and Dr. Muhammad Waqas (Area Sales Manager), attended the session, along with a number of students.
